Formed in 2007, South Florida Hedge Fund Managers (SFHFM.org) is an exclusive hedge fund association to inform and unite the growing population of Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, Palm Beach and Naples hedge fund managers, fund of fund managers, analysts and traders.

Our mission is to provide an exclusive forum to share information, experiences, resources and ideas.  To help hedge fund managers achieve peak performance when raising assets and achieving investment returns.  We are here to help you grow your fund.

WHAT WE DO

SFHFM.org has grown to more than 100 members from all parts of South Florida. 

We gather frequently for a relaxed and informative evening that includes cocktails, thought-provoking presentations, and ample time for networking.

Prior events have covered the topics of hedge fund marketing, investor relations, trading psychology, investment ideas, regulation, regulatory reform, commodities, South Florida hedge funds, energy, credit, and emerging marketplaces.

SFHFM OVERVIEW

Our monthly  Manager Only Forum provides managers of our hedge fund association the unique opportunity to discuss and refine investment ideas with other managers.  

Fund of fund managers get the opportunity to capture the pulse of asset classes and strategies first hand.  This allows fund of funds to capture or avoid a trend that maybe occurring in one of their asset allocations.

The hedge fund manager gets the interaction with fund of fund managers that typical have a better understanding of the asset gathering climate because a lot of their time is spent with investors.  This gives fund of funds a better understanding of investors' needs, wants and concerns.

Every manager must strike the right balance between raising assets and investment performance.  Successful hedge fund managers and fund of fund managers that allocate their time to finding this balance typically perform better.
